The project is about how a commercial gallery functions as a showroom and my first project in a commercial space. The first step was to give the gallery its original use as
a house. The installation was a combination of furniture and collages printed on canvas. The whole work was conceived as a ready-made. When you go to IKEA the furniture is not being used for its purpose so it becomes a ready-made. This house being used as
a gallery is also a ready-made. The project was based on Hyperreality, a concept used by Jean Baudrillard in Simulacra and Simulation (1981).
